Trauma Therapy in Munich

Trauma can come from a single event or from years of small, accumulating experiences — and it shows up in the body as much as in the mind. We work carefully and at your pace, using methods that the research strongly supports for trauma: EMDR, schema work and emotion-focused therapy.

Signs to watch for

  • Intrusive memories, flashbacks or nightmares
  • Hypervigilance, easy startle, or feeling numb
  • Avoidance of places, conversations or sensations
  • Difficulty trusting yourself or others
  • Symptoms that started after a specific event

How we work

Trauma work begins with stabilisation — making sure you have the resources to do the deeper work safely. From there we use EMDR and schema-informed approaches to help the brain reprocess what got stuck.

Common questions

Do I have to talk about everything that happened?+

No. Modern trauma therapy — especially EMDR — does not require detailed re-telling. We work in a way that respects your pace.
