About
A clinic, not a directory.
The International Psychology Clinic is a founder-led psychotherapy practice in central Munich. We are a community of independent therapists, coaches and counsellors sharing a supportive practice space — and a shared commitment to integrative, evidence-based work.
Our mission
To make excellent, multilingual psychotherapy accessible to Munich's international community — without the anonymity of a large clinic and without the isolation of a single-therapist practice.
International focus
Living abroad asks a particular set of questions of you. Identity, language, family ties, the relationship to home — none of these are incidental to the therapy. We work in English, Portuguese, German and Spanish, and our clinical thinking is shaped by decades of working with expats, dual-cultural families and international professionals in Munich.
Integrative approach
We do not subscribe to a single school. Each therapist combines methods — Schema Therapy, EMDR, Emotion-Focused Therapy, cognitive-behavioural and systemic approaches — based on what is most useful for the person in front of them. The starting point is always a careful initial evaluation: what is happening, why now, and what kind of work would help.
A curated network
The clinic is small by design. Our associated therapists practise independently and sometimes elsewhere, but each has been chosen for the depth of their training, the quality of their relational work, and an alignment with the values that shape the clinic. We do not list every therapist who would like to be listed.
How therapists are selected
New therapists join by invitation, following a clinical conversation with Anna and a review of their training, supervision history and clinical references. We prioritise therapists with substantial clinical experience, additional training in at least one depth-oriented method, and the ability to work in more than one language.
